To fulfil today's quality demands for casthouses and foundry products, a high purity grade of metal quality is required. Even the smallest inclusions can lead to cracks, pinholes or poor surfaces and make the final product unusable. o.d.t. Engineering offers high quality Drache ceramic foam filters in various sizes and porosity grades to suit your production requirement. Drache's Ceralu filters are manufactured in porosities from 10 to 70 PPI. Many industry standard sizes are available and custom-made cut-to-size filters are also possible. The filters are placed in the melt usually inside a filter box. Complete metal filtration units with gas or electric filter tile pre-heat system are also available.
