Vertical Casting
o.d.t. Engineering offers a wide range of vertical direct chill (DC) casting equipment suitable for semi-continuous casting of aluminium extrusion billets, rolling ingots and T-bars.
Vertical DC casting machine in conjunction with our AirCAST mould systems can produce most aluminium billet and/or rolling ingot sizes and alloys.
Various equipment layouts are available with a casting capacity range from 2 tonnes to in excess of 100 tonnes per cast. We have completed projects with cast length variations from 3 to 12 meters.
